Drugs Declassified

Hello to all you wonderful Hardtack consumers. Mike here with an update.

Episode 19 is in final production and releases tomorrow! Definitely one to look out for. The Tragedy of the Sandakan Death Marches features our returning guest, Warwick, of the Australian Military History Podcast. The subject matter is heavy, and our very own Sam has some personal connections to the event. Please give it a listen upon release.

I am currently writing and researching for Episode 20, and it is quite the topic. You will have to wait to find out what it is. However, I will say defense agencies and human experimentation are shady business.

A bit of a teaser, and because I am excited for this one, I found a database of court documents and even some technical reports from the event that have since been declassified. You can probably ascertain as much from the photo above...hell, do some digging and you may even stumble upon the topic for Episode 20!

Speaking of Episode 20...I cannot believe we are already here. This podcast started out in August and, if you could not already tell, we had no clue what we were doing. Much has changed and quality improved, though we still have bits to learn each week of production. We are truly grateful for those of you that have and continue to stick by us.

Working on some musical fillers and background tracks. Needless to say, trippy and ominous are accurate descriptors of what to expect. Though not quite what you would hear from The Beatles, it should absolutely give you a sense of dissociation.

Rainy day here on the East Coast of the United States, at least in some areas, but that is my kind of weather. Why complain? Kept me from putting up the whole fence so I went inside and cracked a cold one. Thank you, precipitation.

Cheers to you all and we will talk again soon.
